EMPRESS SHUCK 18th BIRTHDAY
ROCKER CHIC! Empress
celebrated her 18th birthday last February 20, 2011 at the The Grand
Terrace with her family, relatives and showbiz friends and colleagues at
ABS-CBN and Star Magic. From her first major project Rosalka last year
she turned now into a fine and lovely lady.
The
evening of February 20 felt like a scene straight out of a movie about
Empress coming of age. What made it even more memorable was that it was
for real and not just another role Empress was playing. The musical
ambiance at the GRAND TERRACE along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City
was elegant and magical. Food and beverages are prepared by VS&F
Classic Food International from the combination of Japanese dishes
(assorted sashimi and sushi) and Mexican staples (nachos) with
cook-on-the-spot that allows guests to have dishes of their choice
cooked while they waited. During the event, Mr. BUDDY ABESAMIS (venue
and catering owner) personally supervised the menu to check that
everything is in order and properly served.
To
make Empress 18th Birthday memorable and one of a kind ROLANDO
ROQUERO of FLOWERS UNLIMITED designed the set-up from the ceiling,
backdraft and table centerpieces synchronized with the theme, he played
with the three colors combination black, white and pink. Together with
his team, they constructed the stage backdraft almost two weeks, to add
more drama to the occasion he used real electric guitars as centerpieces
with decorated flowers, rock bling-blings and candles on top of the
table. Also, he made the ceiling in black with crystals.
I-SHOT
STUDIO played a major role on Empress Rocker Chic Debut from the
pictorial and video coverage of the debutante's preparation, program and
party. The production team of i-shot headed by Ediboy Quizada and
Event Director-Alfie Ramirez set-up the technical equipments from
morning until afternoon before the program begins including 3 video
cameras, systems and cables. Most of the guests watched the whole
program via live feed projected at the screen. The natural beauty and
smile of Empress captured by the talented and creative photographers and
videographers of the studio.
Empress
gown was designed and created by showbiz fashion designer Pepsi
Herrera. The gown was made of illusion tulle embellished with black
czar. The debutante's face created a look that was beautiful yet playful
by the magic hands of Robbie Pinera and Empress personal hair stylist
Raymond Santiago.
The
main highlight of the debut party was the singing of Happy Birthday
song and candle blowing. Cakes are provided by VIENNA CAKES
Mary
Ann Manalaysay, the event organizer, was became the busiest person in
the whole event. She coordinated everything from time to time. With her
team, she designed the whole program, scheduled the pre-production
meetings, food tasting, gown fitting, trial make-up and checked all the
details needed for the party.
